Who we are
nydualeligible.com is an educational website operated by a private organization. We are not a government agency, not Medicare, not Social Security, not New York Medicaid, not HRA, and not EPIC.
What we collect
If you use the MSP screener at /tools/msp-screener or a contact form, we may collect your name, phone, email, ZIP, and the answers you provide about coverage, county, household size, and an approximate income band. We also collect basic technical data (such as browser type, pages viewed, IP address, and approximate location) to run and improve the site.
We use Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how the site is used. These tools may set cookies or collect device identifiers. We do not ask for, and you should not enter, Social Security numbers, Medicare or Medicaid ID numbers, bank details, exact income documents, or details about specific diagnoses or medications.
How we use it
We use your information to send the educational next steps and document checklist you requested and, if you consented, so our first-party team or affiliated New York insurance agency partners can follow up with information about Medicare cost programs and related options. We do not use this site to apply for, approve, or deny any program, or to enroll you in a plan.
If you provide a phone number and check the phone/text consent box, you agree that we or a licensed insurance agency partner may call or text you at that number, including with automated technology. Consent is not a condition of receiving educational content. Message and data rates may apply. You can withdraw phone consent at any time by replying STOP to a text or telling a caller you want no more outreach.
How we hold leads
Leads and form submissions are held first-party by the site operator and its designated partners for follow-up and service. We do not sell your information as a public lead list. We may share data with service providers who host the site, store submissions, send messages, or support operations, under agreements that limit their use.
Your choices
You can ask us not to contact you further by emailing hello@nydualeligible.com or by telling a caller you want no more outreach. You can also ask what information we hold about you and request that it be deleted. For free independent counseling, call HIICAP at 1-800-701-0501. For your Medicaid or Medicare Savings Program case in New York City, contact the HRA Medicaid Helpline at 1-888-692-6116.
Official programs
Medicare Savings Program, Medicaid, Extra Help, and EPIC decisions are made only by HRA or your county, Social Security, and the New York State EPIC program. Always confirm rules on health.ny.gov, Medicare.gov, or with a qualified counselor.
Children
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date and version above will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.
